Egg pie, is one of the most sweetest pies, I ever taste in the Bake Shop of Danes at Loakan, Baguio City. So, egg pie is one of my likely snack or dessert when I am in Loakan, Baguio City. Especially, when my Boyfriend baked me an egg pie and it feels like I'm very lucky to have a guy like him who served me a snack or dessert like that. So, I asked the Ingredients then try to bake your special someone to become sweeter than any sweets that makes them “KILIG”.


Egg Pie

Try this recipe and let me know what you think. :)

Ingredients :
CRUST :
                250 grams cake flour
                300 grams all purpose flour
                100 grams shortening
                75 grams star margarine
                30 grams white sugar
                ¼ teaspoon rocksalt
                ¼ teaspoon baking power
                130 grams of water

FILLING :
                7 pieces  of Egg
                200 grams milk powder
                200 grams white sugar
                1 tablespoon cornstarch              
                  500 mL hot water        


Simple Instructions :
1.     Create the crust by combining the 250 grams cake flour, 300 grams all purpose flour,100 grams shortening, 75 grams star margarine, , 30 grams white sugar, 1?4 teaspoon rocksalt, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, then mix it well.
2.     Then pour the 130 grams of water after mixing
3.     After creating the crust, place it in a pie plate and decorate the edges as desired.
Filling
1.     The 7 pieces of egg, mixed it well.
2.     After that, put the 200 grams milk powder , 200 grams white sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 500 mL hot water  and mix it again.
3.     After mixing all the ingredients for filling, pour the mix ingredients to the curst of the pie.
4.     Then bake for 60-70 minutes at 150 degrees C.
5.     Remove the egg pie from the oven and let cool.
